started his career at a local engineering firm in Salina, KS. Alan spent 15 years developing his skills in construction and construction management. Several years ago, while thinking about energy policy and our dependence on foreign oil, a thought occurred to him. The thinking “why doesn’t someone do something about this” changed to “why don’t I do something about this”. From that point, Alan started to focus on renewable energy. Alan received a degree in renewable energy from San Juan College in Farmington, NM. This degree was an intensive instruction in solar theory and application. After obtaining the degree, Alan spent the next 3 years in California and Colorado installing solar systems.
