Solar is very flexible in the ways in which it can be installed.  This customer was
so happy with our installation, he decided to add more.  After the initial
installation, a geo-thermal heat pump was added to the property and added
additional electric consumption.  His remaining electric use was about 400 kWh
and he wanted to get rid of the monthly bill.

We were able to incorporate 10 additional solar panels with his original
installation of 20 panels.  The final system will about wipe out his entire electric
bill!

System Statistics:
Location:
 Mankato, KS
10 Evergreen 190 watt PV modules
PVpowered 2000 watt Inverter
East facing array
14º Tilt
Average Monthly Production 230 kWh
Average Monthly Savings $23

Annual amount of Pollution Conserved:
Carbon: 2.1 Tons

This installation was installed on an east facing roof.  The available south facing roof
space was limited at the location.  Because the array faces east, the bulk of the production
occurs in the morning.  For this installation, the difference between a similar size facing
true south is only 25 kWh a month.
